Y’all, if this ain’t the most Texas way to kick off the holidays, I don’t know what is.
Last week the A.C.E. threw on a Santa hat for an Ortega Elementary kid in East Austin with our good friends at the TSPE Travis Chapter for the annual Holiday Party. And let me tell ya: the lobby looked like the North Pole done moved to ATX.
We hauled in a mountain of wrapped gifts, piled ’em high around a Christmas tree, turned that entryway into a full-blown winter wonderland, and then let 40 amazing kids loose on it. Santa held court in his big red chair while little boots scampered across the wood floors, arms full of presents and hearts full of wonder.

There were presents bigger than some of the kids, red velvet chairs fit for the big man himself, and enough holiday spirit to power the Austin skyline. Every smile, every hug, every “thank y’all!” from teachers reminded us why we do this: because nothin’ beats seein’ a kid feel downright special this time of year.

A special thank-you to the TSPE Travis Chapter team for organizing such a seamless and inspiring event—one that brought joy to the children and reminded all of us professionals why giving back matters.

From our A.C.E. family to yours: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and may your stockings be stuffed and your hearts be full.
Y’all come back now—see ya next Christmas!
