Celebrating Professional Engineers Day 2026: Honoring Licensed Civil & Geotechnical Engineers

Today, August 5, 2026, marks the eleventh annual Professional Engineers Day - a day set aside to recognize the licensed Professional Engineers whose work quietly and reliably shapes the safety, resilience, and quality of the built environment.
At A.C.E., we join engineers across Texas and the nation in celebrating this important observance. As a firm led by a licensed Professional Engineer and dedicated exclusively to civil engineering, we understand firsthand the weight of the PE license.
The Professional Engineer designation is more than a credential. It is a public commitment. Licensed PEs are bound by a code of ethics that places the health, safety, and welfare of the public above all other considerations. In civil and geotechnical engineering, this responsibility is especially tangible. Every foundation recommendation, every soil analysis, and every site investigation we perform carries real consequences for the structures and communities that rest upon our work.
Licensed civil and geotechnical engineers serve as the critical link between design intent and constructible, safe reality. They evaluate subsurface conditions, manage risk from expansive soils and variable geology common across Texas, and provide the technical foundation that allows projects - from residential developments to critical public infrastructure - to move forward with confidence.
This Professional Engineers Day, we want to acknowledge:
The rigorous path to licensure and the ongoing professional development it requires
The ethical standard that licensed PEs uphold every day
The quiet, essential contributions of engineers who ensure the ground beneath our projects is sound
At A.C.E., public safety is not a slogan - it is the foundation of our practice. We are proud to be a PE-led MBE/DBE/SBE firm, TxDOT-precertified, and committed to delivering reliable geotechnical solutions that help our clients engineer the future while grounding their success.
To our fellow licensed Professional Engineers: thank you for the work you do.
To the next generation of engineers: the PE license remains one of the most meaningful ways to serve the public through the practice of engineering.
Happy Professional Engineers Day.
Engineering the Future, Grounding Your Success.
